About Bridal Veil Falls

Bridal Veil Falls drops 607 feet in two magnificent tiers down the sheer limestone walls of Provo Canyon just east of Provo — one of the tallest double-cataract waterfalls in the world and the most recognizable natural landmark on the Wasatch Front. The upper tier drops 289 feet and the lower tier adds another 318 feet, feeding a pool at the canyon floor visible from US-189.

The falls are fed by snowmelt from the Wasatch Mountains above and are at their most spectacular from April through June. The trail to the base is short and accessible, making Bridal Veil Falls a popular destination for families, picnickers, and visitors exploring Provo Canyon's scenic byway. Fall foliage in the canyon (late September) rivals the spring waterfall display for visual drama.
