About Falls Creek Falls

Falls Creek Falls is one of southern Washington's finest waterfall destinations — a 265-foot three-tiered cascade in the Wind River corridor of Gifford Pinchot National Forest near Carson in Skamania County. The falls plunge in three dramatic stages through a dark basalt canyon draped in Pacific Northwest old-growth, with the total height making them one of the tallest accessible waterfalls in Washington.

The Wind River valley location puts Falls Creek Falls within an hour of the Columbia River Gorge's incredible waterfall collection — ideal for a multi-day southwest Washington outdoor adventure.
