Old Bahia Honda Bridge Walk

The Old Bahia Honda Bridge Walk traverses a preserved section of the historic railroad bridge completed in 1912 as part of Henry Flagler extraordinary over-sea railroad connecting Miami to Key West. The original bridge was considered an engineering marvel of its era, spanning the deep Bahia Honda Channel, one of the deepest natural channels in the Florida Keys. Walking the elevated span offers unparalleled 360-degree views over the surrounding turquoise water, the modern highway bridge, and the emerald islands stretching in both directions.

The perspective from the bridge deck provides a uniquely elevated vantage point unavailable anywhere else in the Keys, allowing visitors to appreciate the extraordinary geography of this island chain.
