Dam Overlook Trail

The Dam Overlook Trail at Elephant Butte Lake State Park leads to a viewpoint overlooking the historic Elephant Butte Dam and the Rio Grande below, offering a perspective on one of the most significant water infrastructure projects in the American Southwest and the river valley that has sustained human civilization in this arid region for millennia.
