The Three Sisters Area is centered on Goblin Valley's most iconic rock formation — three towering Entrada Sandstone spires standing side by side like sentinels guarding the valley. The short, easy loop of approximately one mile allows visitors to circumnavigate and closely examine these famous formations from all angles, appreciating the detailed weathering patterns, undercutting, and cap rocks that distinguish the Three Sisters from the hundreds of smaller goblins surrounding them.

The Three Sisters have appeared in countless photographs, films, and travel features about Goblin Valley, and seeing them in person rarely disappoints — the spires are taller and more imposing than photographs suggest, and their proximity allows examination of the layered sandstone structure that reveals the complex geological history of this ancient seafloor deposit. The area immediately surrounding the Three Sisters is densely populated with smaller hoodoos, making the short loop feel richly detailed and worth slow, contemplative exploration. This route is ideal for visitors with limited mobility or time who want to experience the park's most celebrated landmark. Leashed dogs are welcome. The $20 per vehicle park entrance fee applies, and the Three Sisters trailhead is a short drive from the main valley parking area.
