The Pease Creek Trail follows the main waterway through Ledges State Park along the creek bottom, offering a flat and accessible route through the park's most dramatic terrain. Floods periodically reshape the canyon floor, depositing fresh sand bars and eroding new channels. Great blue herons fish in the shallows year-round, and wood ducks nest in cavities along the creek banks in spring.
